The reflective learning journal about my studies in Bellerbys College

During the foundation year, I have improved my skills in all of my subject areas.
When I started the course in September 2009 I enjoyed it from the first moment, I was taught in Maths, Business studies 1, Economics 1 and English.
I was very lucky with my economics and business teachers, because I learnt from Mr. Lucas and Mrs.Thompson. However in English and Math I could not settle things as wanted but in the end of the term I could at least achieve better results in English. After my first marks have arrived, I was very pleased because I achieved to get 75% for economics, 77% for business studies and 65% for my English exam. However my parents did not seem to share my ideas of happiness because unfortunetly I failed the first math exam with only 16%, but my parents did not understand that I have the chance to retake this exam.

In January 2010 our second term started and I was keen to tackle some new challenges. This term was a bit easier for me because I was studying Accounts with Mr. Tompkin, Economics 2 with Mr Gray and English with an unfriendly teacher. Despite the fact that I missed a couple of lessons, I could get my things done properly and achieved satisfying results at the end. In addition I used the time to improve my math and managed to pass the exam in the end.

When third term started, I have been a little lazy and powerless, however I think that I improved my performance through out the term in my two coursework exams CIT and English, which I actually enjoyed. Regarding my other subject, Business studies 2 and my retake of the Economics 2 exam due to absence, I am preparing now in order to achieve the right results for my university application.
